How long does a full bathroom take to fit?
Most full bathrooms take somewhere around a week from rip-out to finished, but it depends on the size of the room, the amount of tiling, and what we find behind the old suite. We’ll give you a realistic number of days when we quote, and tell you straight away if anything changes.
Do you supply the bathroom, or do I buy it myself?
Either works. Plenty of customers pick their own suite, tiles and screen and we fit them. If you’d rather not trawl round showrooms, tell us the look you’re after and your budget and we’ll point you at what suits the room.
Do you take the old bathroom away?
Yes. Full rip-out and removal of the old suite, tiles and flooring is part of the job, and the room gets cleaned down at the end rather than left for you to sort out.
Can you turn my bath into a walk-in shower?
Yes — bath to shower conversions are one of the most common jobs we do. We take the bath out, re-run the waste and feeds, board and tank the walls properly, then fit the tray or former, screen and tiling.
Do you do the tiling and flooring as well?
Yes. Wall tiling, floor tiling, wall panelling and vinyl or LVT flooring are all done by us, so it’s the same team start to finish and nobody’s stood waiting on anybody else.
What about the plumbing and electrics?
The bathroom plumbing is ours — bath, shower, basin, WC, taps, wastes and heated towel rails. Where a job needs electrical work such as spotlights, an extractor fan or a shaver socket, we cover that as part of the job, so you’re only dealing with one point of contact.
Is the quote free?
Yes. We come and look at the room, talk through what you want, and give you a written price. There’s no charge and no obligation to go ahead.
Can I still use the house while you’re working?
You can. The bathroom itself will be out of action for most of the job, so if it’s your only one we’ll talk that through when we quote and plan the days to keep the disruption as short as possible.
